Meenakshi Khanna, Ed. M.
Meenakshi Khanna, Ed. M. Meenakshi began her career as a teacher of the Deaf and taught for several years in Vermont and Massachusetts. Subsequent work included coaching in urban schools, and working on a team that developed a curriculum for struggling middle grades readers.
Meenakshi moved to India a few years ago to work with Sesame Workshop India. Currently, along with the TRANSLATE project, she is working with Pratham Education Foundation to understand the impact of digital technology on mother-child interactions. Meenakshi has an interest in bilingual education and culturally responsive pedagogy and is delighted to be a member of the TRANSLATE team. She has a Masters degree in Deaf Education from Gallaudet University and a Masters degree in Language and Literacy from Harvard University.
